A NOTE FROM JOHN SNYDER:

I can't believe I'm writing my Christmas Newsletter. Where did the year go? Christmas has always been a special time of year for me. So many wonderful memories. I get such a warm feeling in my heart as I think about the positive influence that Jesus Christ has had in my life, and how His birth changed the world in such a wonderful way. As the Holiday approaches, it seems that a feeling of calm and peace begins to creeps into our harried lives. We slow down (once the shopping is done) and appreciate our relationships with family and friends, and how lucky we are. We seem a bit more capable of love and understanding, more charitable and even people with a low tolerance for patience (like myself) seem to dial it down just a little in the spirit of the season. Wouldn't it be nice if life all year could be like it is in December? Well ... it can be, you know. We just need to try a little harder to keep Christmas in our hearts all year long. After all ... if your looking for Christmas under the tree ... you won't find it. The true spirit and meaning of Christmas is in your heart. Merry Christmas!

Sincerely,
I originally self-published this book back in 1999. In the Holiday season of 2000, I sold nearly 25,000 copies making it a best selling book in several markets. Also that year, Family Circle Magazine featured The Golden Ring in a nine page condensed version in their holiday edition. Because of the books success, Warner Books offered me a book deal and they published their edition in 2001. A German language edition was also published in Germany that year. Sign copies of The Golden Ring are available on my webpage for just $10 (hardcover). To purchase one or to learn more click here.
